Dr. Chandan Kumar Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar, India, since 2026. Prior to joining NIT Jalandhar, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centre for Wireless Communications, Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, University of Oulu, Finland, working on the prestigious 6G Flagship Programme from 2023-26. He received his Ph.D. in Wireless Communication from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore in 2023, his M.Tech. in Digital Communication from Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), East Campus, Delhi in 2017. His research interests span machine learning for wireless communications, integrated sensing and communication (ISAC), reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS), UAV-assisted networks, non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), rate-splitting multiple access (RSMA), cooperative and cognitive radio networks, wireless energy harvesting, physical layer security, IoT networks and millimeter-wave (mmWave) communications.
